Cherry blossoms in Miyajima

Many people think of maple trees when they think of Miyajima, but there are actually more cherry blossom trees than maple trees. Cherry blossom season is one of the popular tourist seasons in Miyajima.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency’s flowering information, the normal day for cherry blossoms to bloom in Hiroshima Prefecture is March 25th.

Last year, it was in full bloom on March 28th in Hiroshima.

Miyajima becomes even more attractive during the cherry blossom season.
From late March to early April, rooms tend to fill up quickly.
