Wooden one-storied Cottage built in 1928(Showa 3rd year).
It consists of a room with 10 tatami mats, a room with 8tatami mats, and an indoor private bath.
Japanese traditional value can be felt from the detail of desings such as window, decorative transam, lattice, and alcove post.The location of this cottage blends into the simple beauty of nature in Momijidani Valley with rich water and green.
RYUMONTEI

Named by the last fuedal lord ofHiroshima han, Nagakoto ASANO
Cottage 'Ryumon-tei' was named by one of the last feudal lords, Nagakoto ASANO.
A quiet room merged into the nature.
Sunlight shines through paper sliding doors and architectural beauty harmonize to create peaceful time.
You may see deers walking in the gardens blend into the Momijidani Valley.
SENSHINTEI

In 2018 we renovated a 69-year-old Sukiya-zukuri style house architectural hanare cottage.
In 1949 the room was built in the style of a tea-ceremony house (Sukiya-zukuri)
The cottage room was named by Master Omotesenke soutyusai sousyu who was the master of Omotesenke tea school of Japanese Way of Tea.
In 1952 a novelist Eiji Yoshikawa worked on one of his novels “The Heike Story: A Modern Translation of the Classic Tale of Love and War” in the cottage while his staying.
The room locates the deepest and the most peaceful property area of Iwaso.
You will be impressed by pure and beautiful Momijidani creek view when you put your body in the bathtub of this magnificent room like a great novelist in the past.

Shinkan is a 5 storied-building that has view of Momijidani Valley and the Seto Inland Sea that we couldn't observe from our older wooden buildings.
Enjoy the lively Momijidani Valley's nature and sea view.
The view varies from room to room.
Momijidani Valley side, seaside corner, and town side, from all the rooms you can enjoy healing beauty of nature.

Momiji-Manju story
This is a story in the 40's of Meiji area(1907 - 1912).
At the time, 'Youkan(sweet jelly)' used to be the only one we could come up as a teacake.
