If traveling from the east of Miyajima on Route 2, it takes about 10 minutes from the “Hatsukaichi IC” to the Miyajimaguchi Pier.

It is 300m (a 3 minute walk) from Iwaso to Itsukushima Shrine.
It is 5 minutes drive from the pier to Iwaso.
*The shopping streets and entrance path to the shrine are closed to traffic between 10:00am and 5:30pm (throughout the year).
It is 15 minutes walk from the pier to Iwaso.
If you notify us of the time your boat reaches the Miyajima Pier, we will send a shuttle bus for you.
After Dinner
Enjoy the illuminated shrine and gateway as you drift back to the world of Tiara no Kiyomori (a shogun who lived from 1118-1181).
